Wintertime Blues
An airplane borne virus has infected the people in this house and even the dogs are depressed. Ken and I have moped and rested and sat in front of our computers most of the week in hopes of getting well soon. The dogs are restless and need some exercise and so do we. Cold temperatures early in the week burned my lungs when I tried to go outside. And to make matters worse, skate skiing and ice skating conditions have been as good as a person could want them to be, if she could go outside and enjoy them.

New Years Eve
It was zero or below for New Years in the Methow. That didn't stop this party!
I always wondered why they were called bottle rockets.
This had to be dug out of two feet of snow before we could have a campfire!
