An autumn hike

On Saturday, Ken and I hiked the Maple Pass/Lake Ann loop route, starting at Rainy Pass. It was a brisk day with lots of sunshine and fall colors.

That's Glacier Peak on the left surrounded by other glacier covered mountains. There are more glaciers in the North Cascades than in the rest of the lower 48. Well, that's what they told us at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center.
